Axis Church, Murphy, TX

An internationally noted speaker in the field of toxicology whose expertise is still sought out, a little over three years ago Dr. Karl Enters heeded the call to ministry, left his position as a director at

ISP Corporation in New Jersey, enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary and entered full-time ministry. Affiliated with Powersurge Worship Ministries and in partnership with the Collin County Baptist Association and Murphy Road Baptist Church, Karl led a team in planting Axis Church, a church targeting 18 – 30 year olds and the deaf community in Collin County, TX.   While completing his degree at DTS, he currently serves as Lead Pastor at Axis Church.  Having been named a Dr. David Jeremiah Scholar while at the seminary, Karl has become an internationally sought after speaker for conferences and pulpit ministry.

Before embarking on his pursuit of full time ministry, Karl has served as the chairman of his church’s board, an elder, a CE teacher to both children and adults, and a member of the worship team and choir. A vocalist and aspiring songwriter, Karl has been singing around the country in a variety of ensembles since his days at Eastern College.  Karl currently serves on the Board of Directors of both PowerSurge Worship Ministries and Child and Family Focus.

In November of 2008, Axis Church moved to their current home at the Recreation Hall at the old firehouse in Allen, TX.  On May 3rd, 2009 the church commissioned its first elder, Daniel Lilly. Karl, Daniel, their families and the leadership team of Axis will appreciate your support and prayer as they seek to engage the culture with truth in North Dallas and Collin County.
