L I V I N G    W O R S H I P  -  A B O U T

At the invitation of the Pastor of Worship at Bethlehem Church in Randolph, NJ, several church musicians and worship leaders from the north Jersey area began to meet during the spring and summer of 2003. The outcome was the formation of Living Worship. The worship leader in each member church agreed to follow a worship study program with at least one group within their church and to encourage their congregation to participate in several Living Worship events throughout the year:

• Two Worship Celebrations
• Two Insight, Impact, Innovation discussion meetings
• One weekend Worship Seminar with a key-note speaker and several expert workshop leaders in various areas related to worship.

The events during this first year were made possible through a Worship Renewal Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids , MI , with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.

Entering the 2004-2005 season, we are pleased to announce our recent partnership with PowerSurge Worship Ministries as we look to provide curricula for worship education.

PowerSurge is an Evangelical Not-for-Profit Global Outreach Ministry seeking to promote and enable a lifestyle of Biblically-based Worship across the Christian Church and the World. Our anticipated theme for the 2005-2006 season is a Family Worship Initiative.
